Washington D.C-part 1

About 2 weeks ago our family went to Washington D.C. We had a wonderful time, it was a great time of year to go. Unfortunately we could not go into the Washington Monument because it was under construction because of a recent earthquake up there. =( We did see a ton though, I also got to ride a plane for the first time! (although I didn't just love it) We got to see Mt. Vernon which was really cool! The back side of the house had a beautiful view of the Potomac River. We also went to the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. We road the Metro (which is the subway of Washington) around a lot. :P We went to 4 of the Smithsoians The Museum of Natural History, The Museum of American History, The National Archives, and The Air and Space Museum.
