Our trip to the Biltmore Mansion

Last week we went to Asheville, N.C. for a couple of days.  My Daddy was born there.  We went to see the Biltmore Mansion.  Wow!  It was so huge!  We couldn't take pictures inside the house, but we got to see a lot of the rooms.  The library was my favorite room.  It had a really big globe and tons of books!  They even own 5 original books written by Charles Dickens.  Their property is 8,000 acres!  George Vanderbilt built the house back in the late 1800's and his descendants still live on the property.  They were at the Biltmore House while we were there but we didn't know it until later.  We had fun but I didn't really like the way they decorated it.  It was too fancy!
